On the day of your trial instructional helicopter flight, you will be met by your experienced instructor at the airport in preparation for your 30 minute trial flight behind the controls of a helicopter. Best of all, this flight time will even count towards the total time needed for you to gain your licence!
A trial instructional flight is designed to give you an insight into the feel of a helicopter first hand. Initially, you will be required to participate in a pre-flight briefing in a casual classroom environment to discuss the very basics of a helicopter and how they actually fly. After the theory is complete, it’s time to head out to the helicopter to experience the feeling of flight, first hand. At all times, your experienced instructor will be by your side to guide and assist you throughout the flight!
As a second option, you can extend your TIF Package by 30 mins to 60 mins flying time and really make the most of your experience.
At the conclusion of your successful trial flight, we will issue you with a Training Introductory Flight certificate!
